ABOUT US
Paolo, the owner, is a Tuscan through and through and has known Versilia all his life.
Viviana, his wife, has been lucky enough to live in Versilia for 36 years, since they were married.
Paolo, is a mathematician with long experience in company management and is an old hand at international relations. He is interested in the history and art of ancient civilizations, a hobby studied in depth by travelling around the world.
Viviana, also retired, used to work in the field of human resources for multinational companies. For part of her life she also worked as a tourist guide, consolidating her natural communication skills, even in challenging situations, and satisfying her appetite for knowledge of new cultures, civilizations, religions and other populations.
A few years ago, we decided to buy Villa Viviana for our growing family. The large villa close to the sea was given a makeover to include all the latest conveniences, but retaining its original style. The lovely windows were also added in the ground floor rooms, giving perfect views of the beautiful garden and pool. Once the children had left home, we realised that Villa Viviana was too big for just two people on their own, so we decided to convert it from a family home into a Bed & Breakfast. So now guests can enjoy this imposing but comfortable house, steeped in tranquillity and nature but with the sea just a stone's throw away.
We should not forget that a B&B also means an informal family atmosphere and the opportunity to interact closely with daily life in the place you are visiting and our idea of a B&B fits perfectly into this way of seeing things. Our aim is to promote the artistic, cultural and environmental heritage of our area to its best advantage, as well as building friendships and cultural exchanges with people from different regions and countries. This is why we have a large number of brochures on the important places of interest available in various languages for our guests.
